Tender description

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) is currently developing the potential requirement for replacing its existing tactical communications system. This system could either be a full replacement for the in-service tactical communications system or it could build upon parts (or all) of the MORPHEUS products/ EvO contract deliverables. The Authority anticipates the programme will deliver these in a series of tranches/ batches and is expecting to complete the first tranche in 2023/2024. Following wide-ranging market testing in 2021, the MOD is now seeking industry's views on more focused aspects of procurement, design, integration and deployment of a tactical communications system to help inform its technical options and programme planning. The purpose of this Request For Information (RFI) is to understand the services available that should be considered by the Future Operating Model Project Team and what Industry has available or in development for the timescale identified. The method of response will be via a survey released by the Defence Digital Tactical Systems (TacSys) Delivery Team. The survey is hosted in Microsoft Forms and the link is shared via Defence Share (for more information please see the RFI document attached). The RFI Survey is open to all Industry parties who may be interested in contributing to the Authority's knowledge about Industry activities, associated research and delivery timeframes. To access the RFI Survey, you must join the TacSys Industry Engagement Workspace on Defence Share. Industry may be limited to two members per organisation due to the capacity limits on Defence Share.
