Brighter Futures for Children would like to invite you to a Market Engagement event: 5th July 2022, 09:00 to 12:00 via Microsoft Teams Brighter Futures for Children would like to work with a wide range of service providers from all sectors to improve the outcomes for children and young people with SEND. This event is an opportunity for Brighter Futures for Children to share their thoughts, ideas, and strategies and to discuss with potential partners and providers how we can work together to achieve our aims. Brighter Futures for Children would welcome representation from local and national charities of all sizes, small local business and individual therapists and educators, as well as independent and non-maintained schools and alternative educational providers. Our aims are to: • build strong partnerships with providers in developing new and innovative provision; • develop new services through co-production with providers, parents and children; • develop a flexible approach to supporting children and young people with SEND; • to build from the strengths of our children with SEND - to see difference and not deficit; • to be needs lead rather than diagnosis lead; • Acknowledge that everyone brings their own strengths across the community which we can build upon together; • Support commissioners and those working to develop services and improvement strategies for children who have SEND and their families.
