Tender description

A Pump Track for Bikes-a pumptrack is a track for wheeled sports equipment that, when ridden properly, does not require pedaling or pushing, but a “pumping” action to maintain momentum. We wish to install a multipurpose pump track that will serve as an amenity for cyclists and skateboarders who wish to hone their skills in a safe community environment. The modular pump track shall be comprised of modules enabling the easy assembly, removal, and addition/subtraction of additional modules to allow the pump track layout to be altered and resized according to requirements. The pump track will be located on an existing hardstand measuring approximately 40 meters x 25 meters. Lot 246494: Pump Track for Bikes Kiltimagh Amenity Park secured planning permission for a multipurpose pump track that will serve as an amenity for cyclists and skateboarders who wish to hone their skills in a safe community environment. Attached is an overall plan for the park (appendix 1) Prospective contractors are invited to tender for the supply only of a modular pump track to be located at the location below.
