The Trust seeks to commission an archives consultant to work with staff over the next three years on an ambitious programme of interrelated projects to review and create a long-term strategy for the management of the paper and digital corporate archives. The consultant(s) are expected to support the Trust through five separate work that will take place, in some cases concurrently, over a three-year programme between 2022 and 2025: The Trust seeks to commission an archives consultant to work with NTS staff over the next three years on an ambitious programme of interrelated projects to review and create a long-term strategy for the management of the paper and digital corporate archives at the Trust. The consultant(s) are expected to support the Trust through five separate work that will take place, in some cases concurrently, over a three-year programme between 2022 and 2025: The five work strands are: 1. Provide expert archivist support to NTS during storage Options Appraisal process 2. Work with NTS staff and key stakeholders to develop a strategy for the long-term management of Archives at NTS 3. Support to the project team to develop and run a review of the physical corporate archives across NTS in preparation for the re-location of the archive 4. Archive catalogue systems review – review of use of Axiell Collections. Portfolio DAMs an CIIM middleware against the emerging Strategy and Digital preservation solution to ensure NTS is managing archives information for optimum efficiency, access and security 5. Lead on the development of a Digital Preservation Strategy and support procurement and implementation of a Digital Preservation System, policies and procedures – to link with strand 2. Development of NTS Archives Strategy
