Medite Europe DAC are seeking expressions of interest for Suitably Qualified Companies for the Design and Supply of a Dry Fuel Handling System

MEDITE Europe DAC is planning an upgrade to their MDF Production Line 1 Energy and Drying system. Part of this upgrade includes the modification, upgrade, and automating of their fuel handling systems. Medite has two sources of fuel, wet fuel, and dry fuel. This PQQ relates to the design and supply of equipment for modifying Line 1 and Line 2 Dry fuel handling systems. The dry fuel consists of a combination of materials extracted from saws, sanders, edge trim, board breakers, and dumphouses. Currently, the Line 1 and Line 2 Edge Trim materials are transferred via high pressure blower to an existing Edge Trim Silo which is currently located in the area of the Line 1 Energy System reclaim conveyor. The existing Edge Trim Silo has lived out its useful life and needs to be replaced. In addition to being replaced, it will also be relocated to the area where the new wet fuel sorting and storage system will be located. The scope of work for this aspect of the dry fuel handling system is to evaluate the capacity of the existing High-Pressure blower to determine if it is capable of transferring the Line 1 and Line 2 Edge Trim materials to the new Edge Trim Silo location. As part of the evaluation, the bidder will also assess the condition of the existing High-Pressure blower and make recommendation whether it still has a reasonable service life or whether it should be replaced even if it would have the capacity to transport the materials to the new destination. In addition to the evaluation of the existing High-Pressure blower, the scope of work would include the design and supply of the new blow line to connect the high-pressure blower to the new Edge Trim Silo If desired, the prospective bidder would also have the opportunity to optionally quote on the design and supply of the new Edge Trim Silo Currently, the materials collected from the Line 2 Sanders and Line 2 Saws are merged into a common high pressure blow line which transfers the materials to the Line 2 Dust Silo.
