Tender description
The Public Health Directorate in Oxfordshire County Council is planning to tender for our Oxfordshire Domestic Abuse Service (ODAS), Independent Domestic Violence Advocacy Service (IDVAs) and linked provision, including training and Perpetrator Services during 2022, in line with the recommendations set out in the domestic abuse Act 2021 and the recently published Domestic Abuse Plan 2022. The focus of this market engagement event in July will be the ODAS and IDVA services, with more information at a later date about future commissioning of Training and Perpetrator services. The Council will be co-commissioning some of these services with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner and District Councils, to ensure we can develop a system-wide approach across Oxfordshire to improve outcomes for individuals and families affected by domestic abuse. We would like to invite you to a market engagement event on July 15th 09.30am - 1.30pm at The Unipart Centre in Oxford to help inform our proposals for future service delivery. There will be an opportunity to hear directly from commissioners and people with lived experience of domestic abuse about key issues and recommendations from the needs assessment affecting the design of the proposed new contracts. There will also be opportunities for further discussion which will help us in shaping our future tender. Opportunities will be provided for networking, 1:1 and group discussion with commissioners, subject to letting us know your preferences in advance. Tea and coffee and a free sandwich lunch will be provided, and ample free parking is available. Restaurant facilities are also available on site. Participants will be limited to a maximum of 2 per organisation. There will be no hybrid options for this event. If required, there are a range of hotel facilities in Oxford and public transport available to the venue.
