GB-London: PAS Plan Making Project Management Review 2022_23

Tender description

This support will provide Local Planning Authorities (LPAs) with an assessment of the suitability and effectiveness of the project programme, project plan, and resources they have in place for delivering the production/review/update of their Local Plan. The Levelling Up & Regeneration Bill (LURB) introduced on 11th May has wide implications across the planning system. This ITT is to procure support for councils producing plans in the current planning system. The support includes: •Appraisal/Assessment of the local plan production timetable, project plan, Local Development Scheme (LDS), associated risks, issues and mitigations, and a set of prioritised recommendations. •Support with Specific Tasks - the identification and delivery of specific/targeted additional support (once/if agreed by PAS) for project management tasks/activities to keep the project management of the Local Plan on track (this support will be delivered as part of this procurement). •Identifying additional follow-up support - the identification of additional, specific/targeted support associated with the evidence base and / or Duty to Cooperate activity/tasks required to keep the plan programme on track and assist with overall plan soundness (this support will be procured separately).
