Collection & End Market Provision for Soil Improver from Penhesgyn In-Vessel Composting Facility

Tender description

The Supplier will be required to provide a collection and end market provision service for Soil Improver from the Penhesgyn In-vessel Composting Facility (IVC). The Soil Improver will be made from green waste collected from the kerbside and from Household Waste Recycling Centres. Following shredding, green garden waste is aerobically composted within tunnels to ensure that it meets minimum temperature thresholds, followed by a period of external maturation. The Soil Improver is then screened through a 20mm screener to produce a final product for collection which meets PAS100 standard.
