These works have two objectives: a) To conserve, consolidate and secure, the enclosing walls, ruined structures, and entrance gates to the former Potato Market Yard, following best conservation practice. b) Plumbing and electrical work to facilitate the use for this historically important, centrally located site, as an artisan food market and venue for public open-air events (outdoor cinema, concert recitals, public performances, etc.).
