Tender description
National Highways is looking to procure specialist technical consultancy services to support the continued development of motorway and strategic road operation. The objectives of this task will be to: - support our technical policy work to assess the feasibility of introducing the emergency corridor procedure, along with alternative options for facilitating emergency incident access. - this will contribute to the delivery of action 5 from the Transport Select Committee (TSC) inquiry into smart motorways.
