Tender description

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint contractor(s) to provide funeral services for the Trust including Frimley, Wexham and Heatherwood Hospitals as instructed by the Trust, supporting the Trust Mortuary Department and Patient Affairs Department. Funeral Service provision is required for patients: a) who have no next of kin; b) whose relatives cannot be traced; c) whose relatives cannot afford to pay or are unwilling to take responsibility; d) who are babies under 24 weeks gestation; e) who are still born babies and infants The Trust wishes the successful contractor to provide a highly professional, quality, compassionate, sensitive service for the deceased patients, ensuring that the final arrangements for them are provided in a dignified manner whether or not mourners are in attendance. The tender will be split in to 2 lots - Lot 1: Frimley Park Hospital and Lot 2: Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospital with suppliers having the opportunity to tender for one of both of the lots.
