In particular GBSIoT wishes to target and reach under-represented and disadvantaged groups including females; people from low-income households; from neighbourhoods with low participation rates, unemployed and NEET young people. To support this ambition, GBSIoT is now looking to engage with the market in the preparation of a procurement strategy for the provision of a digital platform, using digital technology to inspire and support young people in particular, but not exclusively, to access, vocational skills opportunities related to STEM-based careers in Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering, or Digital professions.
