Tender description

Contract needed to pay for an insurance policy for environmental hazard insurance for the National Grid land at Hind Street, Birkenhead, that the Council has recently acquired. The payment needs to come from revenue and this transaction is paramount in regenerating a site capable of accommodating 1400 new homes in Birkenhead and key to our wider plans for the borough. This contract is for an insurance policy to mitigate the Council's risk of environmental contamination liability on this major site.
