<p>This Invitation to Tender is for prospectus addresses the development and management of a Greater Manchester Drugs Early Warning System (EWS) inclusive of a Local Drug Information System (LDIS) and a Greater Manchester Wide Drug Alert process. The system will be based on Public Health England (PHE) national guidelines and build upon the pilot developed for Salford City Council which is currently operating in Salford and Oldham. The system is designed to be low cost, to take up as little staff time and resources as necessary; to be used only when needed; and to be sustainable and adaptable to further change rather than following a rigidly adhered to format. The initial contract period will be for a period of two years, with two annual options to extend up to a maximum of four years.</p> Keywords: Greater Manchester, Public Health, Drugs, System, Early, Warning
