Tender description

Radius Housing is seeking suitably qualified contractors to undertake decommissioning, removal and disposal of existing boiler plant and associated pipework, provide new boiler plant, pipework, controls and commissioning within the main boilerhouse. A temporary boilerhouse will be required to facilitate the works. Replacement heating pipework and radiators is required internally. (The full extent of the works is indicated on the project drawings & specification). The works also include for all builders works in connection with the works and include for all holes, tracking, chases etc, including making good, fire stopping and proofing holes, supports as required, making good on completion, removal of plantroom doors and frames and reinstatement / making good / redecoration etc as required for complete mechanical and electrical installations. (A full and comprehensive description of the works is as listed in the Works and Site Information within the Contract Data) The works will be carried out in live occupied property and as such the Contractor is reminded that all necessary precautionary measures shall be taken to ensure the safety of occupiers and visitors. The above paragraphs are only a short form description of the Works. The Contractor shall provide the Works in accordance with the Works Information.
