Energy Audit

Tender description

Waterways Ireland is asking tenderers to provide a fixed price quotation to carry out a detailed energy audit of Waterways Ireland buildings. To comply with the energy audit requirement, the registered energy auditor must undertake a stand-alone energy audit covering a minimum of 85% of delivered energy use across Waterways Ireland sites. The successful bidder will be required to carry out a full energy audit of all Waterways Ireland sites and prepare a final report. The scope of the audit will include all elements of the building including plant equipment and building fabric. The audit will consider the condition of plant equipment, its anticipated life expectancy and when due for upgrade. Tenderers should include in their tender submission their specific proposals to assist Waterways Ireland to substantially achieve this objective. Tenders should provide details of appropriate certifications to carry out energy audits such as SEAI Registered Energy Auditors, or equivalent. Tenderers must clearly outline how they intend to undertake the work and provide an indicative schedule for the task involved. These audits will be undertaken for Waterways Ireland locations across ROI and NI. Tenders must provide a detailed proposed methodology for conducting the energy audits, approach, timeline, outputs (e.g., sample reports). Provision off sample projects detailing methodology employed is also required along with appropriate certification e.g., SEAI SI 426/599/626. Tenders shall familiarise themselves with the attached list of Waterways Ireland sites and aim to provide the minimum requirement of auditing 85% of the delivered energy across all Waterways Ireland sites. (Minimum of 1,267,520 kW/hrs audited). This includes the Head Office in Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh, which must also be audited.
