Tender description

The purpose of the works are to repair the upstream parapet wall of Glenernie Bridge at the south end, after it was struck by a vehicle. Direct award from Moray Council Civil Engineering Small Works framework for damage to Glenernie Bridge. The Contractor is to provide traffic management (TM) to close the site to all users. Diversions route for small vehicles via B9007, HGV traffic to follow A939 to Nairn and along A96. The Contractor is to recover as much stone as possible from the South embankment for use in rebuilding the parapet. Any further stone that requires to be resourced should be of similar locally sourced material. The parapet is to be rebuilt to original line and level and pointed with St Astier mortar.
