Tender description

At Threadneedle street the building services ventilation and pipework systems are distributed from the central plant areas by means of horizontal service tunnels connected to vertical service shafts rising through the building. The tunnels and shafts are used as a means of air distribution from the central supply and extract ventilation systems and are a mixture of concrete and brick construction. They are part of the original building constructed in the 1920/30s. Prior to the works commencing the tunnels and shafts are to be subject to asbestos refurbishment and demolition surveys and any found ACM's are to be addressed. After each survey deployment re-assurance air testing is to be carried out.
