Tender description

Services to support sector awareness and provider preparedness to aid the implementation of national standards and Ofsted regulation for providers offering supported accommodation for looked after children and care leavers aged 16 & 17. The overall aim of this project is to support the successful implementation of this reform programme by ensuring supported accommodation for young people is consistently high quality, through readying providers for the standards and regulation. The contract is to be for a period of 18 months with the option to extend by one (1) year. The anticipated initial term of this contract is 1st October 2022 - 31st March 2024. The optional extension period is not guaranteed and will be at the absolute discretion of The Department. Any extension will be subject to the Departments approval process, availability of budget and current performance of the supplier.
