PAS2035 Retro-fit Design and Assessments

Procurement of services of PAS2035 Designer with experience of fabric first retrofit work to review the existing PAS2035 Assessments (available on request). the designer will be required to work with the appointed installer and PAS2035 Coordinator to define and deliver the multiple fabric related measures. The objective of the project is to: a) raise the EPC levels to Band C in 16 flats in Ross House, identifying any pre-works, particularly with ventilation, damp, condensation and water ingress; b) to define works that are ‘no regret’ and will fully support the installation of a low carbon heating system (ASHP) in each flat at a later date; c) identify with the installer the design and materials systems to be installed compliance with the wave 1 Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) criteria; d) to design and specify the multiple interventions that may be required; e) to oversee the works and as a minimum ensure that the air pressure and ventilation tests, energy consumption per square meter, damp and ventilation tests meet or exceed the SHDF Criteria f) to meet the Trustmark requirements; and g) to work closely with and to gather and provide evidence of works completed as required to the appointed PAS2035 Coordinator to ensure compliance with the Trustmark process and achieve good outcomes for the residents Keywords: Decarbonisation, Retro-fit, Design, PAS2035, efficiency, assessment
