Bed Based Intermediate Care

Tender description

The London Borough of Hillingdon is seeking to procure the provision of Bed-Based Intermediate Care (the Services) on a four-year block contract basis. The majority of referrals will be those aged 60 and above and people recovering from a period of delirium or who have a history of dementia who are residents of The London Borough of Hillingdon, or registered with a North West London General Practioner. Lot 1: Four (4) nursing care home beds for people who are non-weight bearing that can flex to support general nursing needs. Limit of commercial envelope: £227,587.36 per annum. Lot 2: Three (3) nursing care home beds for people with dementia and nursing needs that can flex to support general nursing needs. Limit of commercial envelope: £166,478.52 per annum. Lot 3: Three (3) residential care home beds to support people with dementia who do not have nursing needs. Limit of commercial envelope: £120,120 per annum. Lot 4: Three (3) residential care home beds to support people with non-clinical needs who do not have dementia. Limit of commercial envelope: £120,120 per annum. Tenderers will be able to tender all for 4 Lots however there will be an assessment described in 4.1 – Economic and Financial Standing. Each Lot will be individually scored as set out in ITT. The Council intends to award the Lots to between 1 and 4 providers based on the outcome of the evaluation process. However, in order to be considered for multiple lots and in the interests of infection prevention and control, the Services must be delivered from a minimum of two different settings. The London Borough of Hillingdon retains the right to award some, all or none of the four Lots available.
