Tender description
The objective of this Voluntary Ex Ante Transparency (VEAT) notice is to inform the market of Dublin City Council's intention to enter into a contract with Numac fabrications Ltd in accordance with Article 32.2(c) of Directive 2014/24/EU (i.e. for reasons of extreme urgency brought about by events unforeseeable by the contracting authority). In order to continue to provide the level of service we provide there is the urgent need to replace one of our existing static compactors in one of our WMS city centre depots as the existing one was assessed as being near the end of its life. The value of this contract is €39,500 ex VAT and is for the purchase of a static Compactor. It is the intention to go to tender for the supply of compactors and containers in 2022 but in the interim there is an urgent requirement to replace the failing static compactor. This VEAT is also a Contract Award Notice.
