Sealing of the Eastern Sluices Ramsgate Harbour

<p>Since the construction of the Port of Ramsgate, the sluices are obsolete and are no longer maintained in functional condition. &nbsp;Previous works to plug the eastern sluices are showing signs of degradation allowing leakage from the inner basin to the outer harbour. &nbsp;The eastern sluices are to be dammed, but not completely blocked. The solution envisaged is a plate or wall, with a weir or letterbox set at 3.6m chart datum.
