Tender description

The Contract is for the provision of the following landscaping works in the courtyard area to create a flexible outdoor teaching space in the upper terrace and flexible Sports yard area in the lower terrace between blocks MF & MG, Magee Campus of the Ulster University. The Tenderer shall provide the Works in accordance with the Employer’s Requirements as set out in the Employer’s Requirements (Document 2 of the ITT Documentation) and the Contract. Tenderers shall include within their Commercial Submission (Document 5 of the ITT Documentation) all sums required to provide the Works in accordance with the Contract. The works comprises the following: · General clearance of shrubbery, planting and 3no. trees · General removal of existing hard surfaces · Removal of existing high level building lighting · Existing concrete walkways, steps and handrails to be redecorated · Existing wall to be cleaned and installation of new multipurpose screen wall · New concrete block, granite and brick paving · New AstroTurf and rubber surfaces · New decorative running track surface · New fence screening to existing M&E plant areas · New benches, seating, tables, pergolas, canopies and miscellaneous furniture · New public lighting · New drainage installation and modifications to existing · Making Good on any disturbed surfaces All adjacent pedestrian/vehicular access routes will remain operational for the duration of the works. Any works necessary to be carried out outside normal working hours (8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday).
