Provision of Prevention and Early Help Services for Children, Young People and Families

Wrexham County Borough Council is seeking to procure services to support children, young people and parents living in Wrexham under the Prevention and Early Help Framework. Services should take a whole family approach to improving outcomes and should be tailored to individual family circumstances. There should be a focus on developing a more joined-up, responsive service provision across partner organisations that puts the unique needs of families at its heart. Lot 1: Section 1 - Parent and Parenting Support a. Evidence Based Parenting Programmes b. One to one intensive parenting support c. Family Support d. Informal parent support groups and Drop in sessions e. Help at Hand Section 2 - Youth Support a. Mentoring Section 3 - Support for Families of Children and Young People with Disabilities and Additional Needs a. Activities and respite for children and young people b. Activity Support Worker Service c. Activities, days out & social groups for the whole family d. Advocacy – pilot until March 2023 31st initially e. Participation Opportunities - pilot until March 31st 2023 initially Section 4 - Mental Wellbeing and Relationships Support a. Domestic abuse programmes for parents and recovery programmes for children, young people and families. b. Counselling / Mental wellbeing for parents c. Wellbeing and resilience activities for children, young people and parents Section 5 - Support to promote Child Development and Resilience a. Play opportunities b. Family Learning c. Outdoor activities for all ages
