Provision of Engineering Design Services for Abbey St. Car Park Performance Area Project

Tender description

Tipperary County Council seeks to appoint a technical consultant (the “Consultant”) to prepare a concept and detailed design for The Abbey St Car Park in Clonmel has been identified as a focal area with the town centre for performing artists. It is planned to develop a central plaza area in Clonmel with overhead weatherproofing which will transform an existing car parking space and adjacent streets into an outdoor performance space and public amenity corridor area. It has also been noted that the car park is vital to the continued success of the nearby businesses and therefore when the area is not used for performances it should still provide as many car park spaces as possible
