Provision of consultancy services for Lisdoonvarna Heritage Plan

Tender description

The successful tender will provide all the necessary consultancy services such as architectural, landscape architectural and ecological services, in addition to heritage conservation and tourism expertise necessary to deliver a Heritage Plan for Lisdoonvarna. The multidisciplinary team will include resources to facilitate capacity building, community and stakeholder engagement workshops while undertaking audit, research and analysis of the local heritage resource in the Study Area set out in Appendix 1. The plan will focus on the built, natural and cultural heritage stock in Lisdoonvarna, linking the Spa Wells to the Town Centre to optimise the local heritage offering and create a positive impact on the future development of the town. The Plan will look at the heritage opportunities and challenges within Lisdoonvarna and incorporate them into a sustainable Heritage Plan and including the wider Green Infrastructure. The Heritage Plan for Lisdoonvarna will respect the distinctive historic character of the town, its unique selling points and should be cognisant of existing Protected Structures and the designation of the town center as an Architectural Conservation Area.
