Tender description

Short description (1000 word limit) This Voluntary ex ante transparency (VEAT) notice acknowledges that Trinity College Dublin proposes to issue a contract to Bruker BioSpin for supply of a CryoProbe Prodigy BBO style for 5mm NMR tubes. The intention is to upgrade existing Bruker 400 MHz NMR spectrometers. A VEAT notice is published in recognition Bruker BioSpin is the only company providing a CryoProbe Prodigy which is 100% compatible with existing Bruker 400 MHZ NMR spectrometers. CryoProbe Prodigy is a new CryoProbe product that delivers boosts in sensitivity and due to its nitrogen-cooled RF coils and preamplifiers deliver a sensitivity enhancement over room temperature probes. Prodigy probes deliver a sensitivity enhancement over room temperature probes of a factor of 2 to 3 both for 1H and X-nuclei.
