<p>Medway Council has secured funding to replace the wetpour safety surfacing at Balmoral Gardens play area in Gillingham. Contractors are invited to tender for the play area safety surfacing to a total budget of &pound;40,000 (ex VAT). The budget must not be exceeded.</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS: The works will include: The following is a summary of the mandatory requirements:</p> <p>&bull; Remove all faulty safety surfacing as indicated on Location Plan &ndash; estimate of approx. 380sqm and remove to licenced facility.</p> <p>&bull; Regulate sub-base, supply and lay new wetpour safety surfacing to meet safety standards (BS EN1177). Note: colour is preferred, please state if black is only within budget.</p> <p>&bull; Please see section D6 for specification.</p> <p>&bull; Warranties/guarantees for the safety surfacing must be provided.</p> <p>&bull; Post installation inspection must take place before opening to the public.</p> Keywords: play area, safety surfacing, wet pour
