<p>Newcastle City Council, acting as the Lead Authority on behalf of the North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) and its Member Authorities, are carrying out a commissioning and procurement exercise for a sub-regional Contract for the supply of Independent Visitors Services. This is the Market Engagement project linked to that exercise. The following feedback was received in relation to our draft Final Commissioning Model published on 23.05.2022: Feedback: It is unclear from the model whether there will be an indicative value given for the service. Whilst the document indicates that providers will be asked to supply details of their costing model as part of the tendering process, do you know if commissioners anticipate providing a financial envelope for the service, or details of current spend? As a new provider to this specific service type, that guidance would assist greatly. We also think it would be more likely to generate interest from (and open up the market to) providers in a similar situation to us. Our Response: 1) The Participating Authorities intend to provide guidance on their current spend, and 2) They do not intend to set a financial envelope for the new service. Please find attached our Final Commissioning Model. The Participating Authorities have now closed the commissioning phase and moved into the procurement phase of this exercise.</p> Keywords: Independent Visitors
