Tender description
<p>The Council has made a commitment for the city to be carbon neutral by 2041. The decarbonisation of the heating is difficult and can be heavily reliant on electricity which can be expensive to utilise for heating. The previous studies for the District Heating Scheme, have proven that there is a viable scheme to decarbonise the heat in the city centre. This study will provide the required information for the Outline Business Case. The external Project Managers are working with CWC to procure a Coordinated Group Bid for the Financial, Legal, Commercial and Technical aspects of the business case. The successful applicant will be monitored and managed by the external PM alongside the internal Project Group, consisting of legal, finance, PM and service expert. CWC has received funding from BEIS via the Heat Network Delivery Unit (HNDU) to assist in taking the project to the Detailed Project Development (DPD).</p> Keywords: HNDU, Energy, Waste, Consultant
