CPH074 Mental Health and Suicide Awareness and Managing Conversations Training

Tender description

Derbyshire County Council is publishing a PIN setting out it's intention to seek a sole provider , with relevant experience and expertise to deliver a programme of both Mental Health Awareness training and Suicide Awareness and Managing Mental Health Conversations training tailored (not standardised training e.g. MHFA England Training, Asist or similar) delivered across Derbyshire (excluding Derby City). The training will be aimed at target organisations, which include a broad range of statutory, community and voluntary sector organisations and places will be free to participants. Training will comprise a mix of both face-to-face training sessions and virtual online (live trainer delivered) interactive training sessions. Alongside the training, the provider is also required to organise and deliver the annual stakeholder event of the Derbyshire Self-Harm and Suicide Prevention Partnership Forum (DSSPPF) in each of the years of the contract. The DSSPPF includes both Derbyshire County and Derby City organisations and is the local suicide prevention partnership. Contract start date 01 March 2023, initial term 12 months, with the option to extend for two further 24 month periods.
