Tender description

This opportunity listing is a request for information/ pre-indicative notification for the freight loads book digitisation project. Currently, the freight load book is managed manually using an excel spreadsheet, digitisation is needed to make interpreting this information easier, to ensure less human error and to save the user time. This project will also seek to optimise further opportunity, including but not limited to audit trails and geographical mapping. The purpose of this RFI is to: • Identify the existing solutions available in the market • Identify the functionality and capabilities of the software services available in the market • Identify indicative costs of the software solutions available in the market • Identify any additional capabilities that Network Rail may have not considered • Ensure suppliers who are interested in any potential future tender activity relating to this requirement are aware of the procurement platform that will be used, and provide them with the steps to complete qualification to this platform (should they not have already done so) Please note that this request for information is not a promise of competition or guaranteed work.
