Tender description

Birmingham City Council (the Council) wishes to invite potential suppliers to submit tenders for the Management of the Councils "Be Bold Be Birmingham" TikTok account. The Council requires a supplier for the provision of managing, producing content and growing the Be Bold Be Birmingham TikTok channel. The concept of Be Bold Be Birmingham derived from the city council's Proud Host City narrative of preparing the city for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. Be Bold, Be Birmingham is now the council's statement of intent to promote and propel Birmingham as a city and its people to the forefront. Be Bold is an attitude, an aspiration, a state of mind, a sense of direction and a purpose for the city. Birmingham has one of the youngest populations in Europe and one of our Be Bold objectives is to communicate and engage effectively with this key audience. As such, the goals of this contract are to: • Be the most followed local authority TikTok channel • Build on the foundations and current success of the TikTok channel • Showcase Birmingham and create a feeling of pride about the city • BE BOLD in all our communications and engagement on TikTok • Make Birmingham stand out from other cities and towns • Capitalise on TikTok trends and make them relevant to Birmingham The proposed duration of the contract is for a duration of 10 months commencing 1st July 2022 until 30th April 2023, with the option to extend for two further periods of 12 months at the council's discretion subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
