Mainstream Residential Respite for Older People in one Care Home in North West Angus (Forfar/Kirriemuir). The provision of between 5 to 8 beds on a block purchase basis is required. This contract opportunity is being advertised via a Prior Information Notice as a single stage procedure. No further advertising will take place and the Contract (12 months plus option to extend for 12 months) will be awarded on the outcome of this procedure. Questionnaires will be evaluated and Contract awarded of what is the most economically advantageous tender to the Purchaser. Mainstream Residential Respite for Older People in one care home in North West Angus (Forfar/Kirriemuir). The provision of a minimum 5 beds on a block purchase basis, with the option, by the Purchaser, to increase up to 8 beds in total. The Service will provide 24 hour care, 365 days per year. Aims of the service are to Provide planned respite care for older people Provide unplanned respite for older people Provide temporary care where an admission to a care home is required Enable Carers to have a planned break from their caring role Submissions are invited from Providers with a Care Home situated in the locality of North West Angus (Forfar/Kirriemuir). Regardless of whether a contract bed is vacant/occupied, the weekly price will be paid.
