Other works include topping up the surfaces around 6 no. benches and removing concrete edging from previous contracted resurfacing works. Medway Council will consider alternative options on the footpath surfaces as certain sections have issues with drainage and slope erosion. If contractors feel there is a more appropriate solution to what is specified in this tender please provide further details in your tender return and why you think your solution will be more suitable.
