Funeral Services and Transportation of Bodies

Tender description

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust invites competitive tenders for the provision of Funeral Services and Transportation of Bodies Contract. This will be split into two Lots, Lot 1 Funeral Services and Lot 2 Transportation of Bodies. The Trust co-ordinates and pays for Funeral arrangements for deceased patients who have no relatives to pay the cost of the funeral, and for funerals of babies, non-viable foetuses and still births. The Trust requires the relevant Contractor in connection with the Trust to co-ordinate and provide the necessary services to facilitate the arrangements. Additional information: The University Hospitals of the North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM) provides Procurement services to The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust (RWT). This contract is to provide a service to RWT in the Wolverhampton area, not to UHNM.
