Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation Support We currently have 5 contracts all coming to an end 31/03/2023, plus one Short Term Accommodation contract to commence as an emergency, interim stop for vulnerable individuals and families before they move into refuge, or if they cannot access refuge. These all provide safe accommodation to those who have suffered from Domestic Abuse and consist of bed spaces for males, females and children and young people, including those with physical difficulties and/or other complex needs . Cornwall Council intends to run a Single Procurement in the form of lots to commence April 2023. Lot 1: Female Refuge minimum of 17 spaces, for women with or without children Lot 2: Male Refuge minimum 5 spaces, for men with or without children Lot 3: Dispersed Units minimum of 24 units for women or men, with or without children and including those with complex needs Lot 4: Specialist accommodation for those with complex needs, including those with protected characteristics Specialist accommodation for those with complex needs, including those with protected characteristics – minimum of 12 spaces – women without children Lot 5: Specialist short term and emergency accommodation Specialist short term and emergency accommodation – no minimum set, single sex accommodation for women and men, with or without children
