Norfolk requires Care and Support within Independent Living solutions delivered within Independent Living (also called extra care) schemes which enable residents of the Independent Living Schemes to maximise their independence and lead a fulfilling lifestyle. Lot 1: Care and support within Independent Living is the delivery of an agreed package of care for adults who are resident in their own home within an Independent Living scheme who have been assessed as having a social care need because they are living with ill health, disability, physical frailty or a learning difficulty. The care may be arranged on behalf of the service user and funded through several routes: fully funded care, partially funded care, direct payment, and/or as a self-funded arrangement.
