NNC- Festive Lights in Kettering

Tender description

The Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Supplier to test, erect and maintain the Festive Lights supplied by the Council, assist with the planned "Switch On" events and remove and store the lights, upon completion. The festive lights provide the residents and visitors with the correct ambience to enjoy the Festive Season and enhance their shopping experience in the Centre of Kettering and surrounding villages. The Supplier must be helpful, flexible, efficient and have an exemplary attitude in their approach to delivering this service. They will be required to work closely with the Council's Representative and have clear lines of communication. The Supplier is required to install festive lights and various decorations in Kettering and the around surrounding boroughs. Travelling distance to the furthest borough is approximately eight (8) miles from Kettering. The Contract is for a minimum of one (1) year, with the option for one (1) further one (1) year extension, in essence a maximum two (2) year Contract. This will be refined into service periods of four (4) months (i.e., between October and January (inclusive) each year).
