Tender description

The service aims to support older people (aged 50 years and older) to age well through the delivery of outreach and activities that promote health and wellbeing and reduce social isolation and loneliness. This supports the borough's commitment to delivering preventative services. The service includes provision of a reference group or similar consultative resource that includes older residents to have an organised, coordinated voice that offers an opportunity to influence key decisions made by the Council and other statutory organisations on issues that affect their lives. Additional information: Initial Contract Duration: 36 months Extensions: 12 + 12 months The estimated value include extensions. This Tender process has been issued by London Borough of Tower Hamlets on in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 as amended by the Public Procurement (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 ("the Regulations) Schedule 3 ("Light Touch") services. This Procurement Exercise will therefore be run in accordance with 'the Regulations' as they apply to "light touch" services. A bidders' event will be held on Wednesday 15th September 2021, at 2 pm.
