E-Cycle Corridor

Tender description

This project will focus on encouraging residents of Newport and Cowes to replace private cars with e-cycles for regular trips between the towns. The project requires the recruitment of a minimum of 48 project participants, which will be provided with free access to e-bikes for the period of participation, and incentivised to use them. To deliver the project with a limited fleet of e-cycles, it is anticipated that each participant will have free access to an e-cycle for about a month, and commit to sharing journey and user experience insight with the supplier and client. The term of the contract shall be 01 September 2021 for a period of 6 months with the option to extend for up to a further 3 months at the sole discretion of the Authority. Keywords: Transport
