Cors Goch - Peatland Restoration

Tender description

Provision of peatland restoration works for Snowdonia National Park Authority (SNPA) on behalf of the National Peatland Action Programme (NPAP). The works will be carried out at Cors Goch, a valley bog on the southern edge of Llyn y Gader between Rhyd Ddu and Beddgelert forest (see map below). Restoration of the site will be accomplished by blocking artificial ditches and improving previously restored ditches by creating peat dams and a series of small pools in the old ditches.
