Tender description

The purpose of the Community Safety Warden role is to undertake a range of community safety activities within the Basildon Borough, including undertaking of enforcement activity where required to, acting as a capable guardian in identified geographic locations and provision of community reassurance to members of the public and local businesses. The Council is currently in the process of seeking Committee approval to commence consultation on the implementation of a proposed Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) and in doing so needs to consider and demonstrate how it would enforce any prohibitions contained within such an Order, should it be implemented, this includes identifying resources such as accredited officers to fulfil this requirement.
