Cold Water Storage Tank Remedial Works

Tender description

Radius Housing is seeking suitably qualified contractors to undertake the change from cold water storage tank feed system to a mains feed system and updates to the hot water cylinders as required at the locations as listed in the Site Information. (The extent of the works is indicated on the project drawings & specification). Also included are the disconnections, temporary works to ensure services remain live, removal of all redundant tanks, cylinders and pipework, all new cold water feed connections (by passing pipework) to reconnect system and any electrical alteration necessary and associated with the works to the hot water cylinders replacement and tank removals etc. The works also include for all builders works in connection with the works and include for all holes, tracking, chases etc, including making good, fire stopping and proofing holes, supports as required, opening ceilings to remove tanks and making good on completion, and reinstatement / making good / redecoration etc as required for complete mechanical and electrical installations. (A full and comprehensive description of the works is as listed in the Works and Site Information within the Contract Data) The works will be carried out in live occupied property and as such the Contractor is reminded that all necessary precautionary measures shall be taken to ensure the safety of occupiers and visitors.
