Young Parents Supported Accommodation and Support Service

Tender description

Nottinghamshire County Council (the Council) invited suitably qualified organisations to submit tenders to provide safe accommodation and support to young parents and their children. The service is to be delivered across the South (Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe), Mansfield and Ashfield district areas and the Newark, Sherwood and Bassetlaw areas of Nottinghamshire County and will be commissioned as 3 separate lots as follows: Lot 1 Broxtowe, Rushcliffe and Gedling (South) – Core and Cluster Units Lot 2 Mansfield and Ashfield (West) – Core and Cluster Units Lot 3 Newark, Sherwood and Bassetlaw – Core and Cluster Units The service is to provide young parents with dedicated and safe supported accommodation, where they can be supported to effectively care for their children and where the young parents are prepared for independence and securing their own tenancy in the future. The contract will commence on 01 August 2022 (the Commencement Date) for a period of 5 years to 31 July 2027 and the Service will commence at the earliest opportunity between the Commencement Date and 01 January 2024 (the Service Commencement Date). There are three twenty-four-month extensions available.
