Building Standards Division is undertaking a review of the local authority verifiers building warrant fee levels making recommendations on the mechanisms to be used for future fee increases. The aim of this project is to undertake a review of the building warrant fee levels making recommendations on the mechanisms to be used for future fee increases. There is also a need to identify if fees currently meet the costs of the current building standards verification service and identify the need for any increases to reflect future changes to the service, i.e. a future central hub service.
