PROVISION OF EXPORT PROMOTION AND INWARD INVESTMENT SURVEY EVALUATION 2022

Tender description

This commission consists of two work strands covering different company cohorts: one for export promotion and one for inward investment. Each of these two work strands (Export Promotion and Inward Investment) will have three research elements: 1) Survey of businesses regarding the support that they may have received, what has been effective, and how this impacted their business activities; 2) Qualitative Research comprising 15-20 depth interviews for each strand will be used to provide a deeper understanding of what support has worked best and contextualise the quantitative data. 3) Assessment of Economic Impact. Survey questions should enable an assessment of economic impact of support provided by delivery partners. The contract is for the delivery of and evaluation of export promotion and inward investment activities. It comprises (1) surveys of (i) Scottish exporting companies and (ii) inward investors that have been or are currently in receipt of support from delivery partners; and (2) complementary qualitative research.
