Tender description

The Norfolk Local Planning Authorities (LPAs), comprising of Broadland District Council, Breckland District Council, Great Yarmouth Borough Council, The Borough Council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk, North Norfolk District Council, Norwich City Council, South Norfolk Council and the Broads Authority, are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified consultant team to prepare a "Nitrate and Phosphate Mitigation Strategy" for the River Wensum Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and the Broads SAC. This is required as a result of the effects of excessive nitrates and phosphates, resulting predominantly from agricultural practices and wastewater from built development, entering the watercourses.
