<p>St Helens Borough Council is re-commissioning a Day Service for Adults with Autism as part of its transformation of the way local people receive the care and support they need. The Day Service will facilitate inclusive and integrated opportunities in neighbourhoods and the wider community, using fully accessible, modern buildings as required. The day service will enable people to be supported, in ways that reflect their own wishes, needs and interests. A programme of structured, comprehensive interventions will include areas such as health, social, recreational, and therapeutic activities, supervision, support services, and personal care.
